The Wedding
Arrive at or before 7pm at the Public Library in Melbourne Beach. (See the blue 'Parking' on the map)
Walk West (toward the setting sun) along Ocean Avenue to the park (see 'Wedding' on the map). We will be just south of the pier, at the river, south of Ocean Avenue, in the grass, under the trees, along the water. There are 2 other events going on in the area at roughly the same time. Make sure you are at the water's edge, and are with a bunch of casually-dressed yachtie types.
We'll start the service at about 7:20 and it will last about 10 minutes max. Then we all kiss and hug and watch the sunset for a few minutes, and walk back to Nick and Cheryl's place (321 Avenue B, see 'Reception' on the map). It is 2 short blocks north of the Library, on Avenue B.
There will be lots of food and drink at Nick and Cheryl's. You can probably easily get by without dinner. There is no sit-down dinner planned.
What to wear??? This is REALLY casual. Golf shorts, khaki slacks, sandals, boat shoes... 'dress casual'... whatever you feel comfortable in. No ties (unless you really want to show off your new tie). Coats are not needed...forecast is for 75 degrees and about 15 knots out of the east.
