Racing Fast Lane in 2002

2002 was an eventful year for me personally (a divorce, 2 trips to Europe, 1 to Canada, new boyfriend, Mom died), and unfortunately Fast Lane and crew took somewhat of a back seat.

However, that said, we still accomplished the following:

 - Won both the Spring and Women's ECSA Series in Spinnaker Class

- Won the MYC Mermaid Regatta in Spinnaker Class

- Placed 2nd in the Ohio Shoals Ocean Distance Race

- Placed 3rd in the ECSA Summer Series and ECSA Fall Series

- Had a ball, Cheryl and I, racing in the ECSA Double-Handed Race

- Did a respectable 4th in both the MYC Spring and Fall Regattas

- Beat Five Speed occasionally

- Make them ALL look back

- Wore out 1 1/2 spinnakers

- Were fortunate to have a good, steady core crew for both the Women's and mixed-crew racing.
