My partner Denise and I are planning to cross the Pacific next year. Our boat, a 43 ft Catana catamaran, is momentarily in Curacao.
 
In preparation of our visit of the St. Blas islands in February 2016 I generated some Google Earth charts with GE2KAP. Since the resolution of GE images of this area is really bad I overlayed the GE images with scanned copies of charts from the 5th edition of the Bauhaus Panama crusing guide, paying a lot attention to properly adjust the lat/lon of the Bauhaus charts to the lat/lon of the GE images. These charts will allow users to navigate mit OpenCPN on Bauhaus charts.
 
Attached please find the respective KAP files. Please feel free to add them to you collection of files on your website. The file names are in accordance with the chart numbers in the Bauhaus cruising guide.
 
In a second email I will send some other KAP files with GE charts from the rest of Panama incl. Las Perlas islands. Since the resolution of these areas is ok I didn't bother to overlay these images with the respective Bauhaus charts.
